At Emma’s graduation ceremony last night, the honourary graduate was Madam Fu Ying, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the United Kingdom. China is responsible for less than 1% of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, after over 100 years of industrial pollution by the west.

On holiday recently, I read Obama’s most recent book The Audacity of Hope.
